With so much going on in our lives right now I thought this was a better avenue to keep in touch with friends and family, rather than typing the same e-mail to 50 different people.
So where to start? Rachel and I are currently in Port Orange, FL. It's a couple miles south of Daytona Beach and so far we seem to like it a lot. It is quite a bit different than Sarasota (where we were living), but different isn't always bad. We've found the people here to be a lot less pretentious than 'Sota, but unlike many people around here, neither of us really have a desire to jump on motorcycle or get a tattoo anytime soon. If you've visited here before you know Daytona Beach can be a little run down in spots, but Port Orange is more like "Suburbia" with the beach only a couple miles away. She is still working for the Engineering firm Kimley-Horn and Associates and I'm working from home selling sports memorabilia for my company Good Game Authentics.
The biggest news right now is that we are expecting our first child. The due date is April 1st (Yeah, we know it's April Fools Day), and we are definitely finding out the sex, and should know in the next couple of weeks. Rachel is doing great, but I think like most pregnant women, she misses having a margarita, and doesn't understand why stores only have a couple of racks of maternity clothes.
This should get everybody caught up. I'm going to try and keep this updated a few times a week. You will probably find me going off on a soap box about random sports, movies, pop culture things that I encounter. I haven't had my radio show for a couple years, so I need to express myself somewhere. Take care and stay in touch.
